Shape Services took the opportunity to attend the NCI Agency’s flagship annual industry conference held in Oslo, Norway on 20-22 May 2019. This was a great opportunity for Shape Services staff Andrew Harrison and Andrew Smallman to meet with NATO agencies and industry leaders.
NINTEC19 offered a true collaboration of minds, bringing together more than 700 senior government, military and industry leaders to discuss advancing technological solutions and business practices to strengthen NATO operations from the South to the High North. The seminars given by NCIA were detailed and well executed by their speakers; giving a great insight to future business opportunities – service line chiefs gave attendees a preview of 1.4 billion EUR in upcoming business opportunities. A highlight for our representatives was the insight into the scale of operations being carried out worldwide and this being just in the Telecommunications C4ISR sphere; an area of core competency and specialism that has seen us trusted by our customers and partners since 2001.
Given the volume of attendees at this event (750+ delegates, including 350 companies and 160 senior government representatives in attendance) the opportunities in networking with likeminded individuals and companies was a great chance to investigate the future collaboration with new customers and partners. We had the delight of meeting with some great people and look forward to building the business relationship further.
If you missed NITEC19, you’ll have to wait until next years event which will be held in Austin, Texas, for the first time ever.
Exciting times for Shape Services as we look forward to driving ahead utilising the knowledge and synergies we took from NITEC19.
